Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible, and contact
sAiity is a private project and part of the aiity family. Provider details and the contact address are published in the imprint on aiity.de.
2. No accounts, no tracking
There is no registration, login, analytics SDK, or advertising. sAiity does not send us audio recordings, transcripts, or usage profiles. The app checks for updates only when you enable that option.
3. Audio processing on the Mac
System audio is captured through ScreenCaptureKit and recognised locally. Translation and transcript storage stay on the device. Models are downloaded from their declared source on first use and then used locally.
4. Optional microphone access
The Include my microphone setting is off by default. If you enable it, your microphone is mixed into system-audio recognition so your side of a conversation can be included in the transcript.
Dictation is a separate press-to-talk mode. The microphone opens only while the configured dictation shortcut is held and is released afterwards. When possible, the result is inserted into the focused field; a copy always remains on the clipboard.
5. Saved transcripts and exports
Saving sessions is optional. Saved originals, translations, and exports remain in your local sAiity data store. You decide whether to share an exported file.
6. This website
This page is static. It sets no cookies and loads no external fonts, scripts, or analytics. The web server processes technically necessary connection data to deliver and secure the page.
7. Your rights and changes
Privacy questions can be sent to the address listed in the imprint. If sAiity's behavior changes, this policy is updated. The version published here, with the date shown above, is the one that applies.
